We believe the Holy Bible is God's divinely-inspired word to man. We believe in the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, perfect and resurrected Son of God, who gave His life for all on the cross. And we believe the Church is intended to be "a house of prayer for all nations" (Mark 11:17). For more information about what we believe, please refer to the Baptist Missionary Association of America at: https://bmaamerica.org/bma-doctrinal-statement/.
At New Hope Baptist Church, we are committed to serving our community and sharing the love of Christ. This is the heart of the Gospel message.
We believe prayer is a powerful gift, central to God's purpose for the Church. We continue to learn and grow in this area and hope you will join us as we humbly learn what God can do.
We invite you to pray with us.
"Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!" Psalms 116:2 NLT
I was introduced to the Gospel by my father (also a pastor) from infancy. At seven years of age, I realized my need to surrender my life to Jesus as Lord and was also baptized.
As time went on, I was searching for God's will for my life. It became clear that nothing outside of ministry would give me peace. I surrendered to Gospel ministry and then went on to earn my Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
My wife, Silvia, and I have raised six children to adulthood. We homeschooled all six and have always worked hard to impress the Gospel and eternity on their hearts.
I have a passion to teach God's word and pray that God will allow me to be instrumental in bringing about and seeing true and far-reaching revival in my lifetime.
2 Corinthians 9:7, "You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. 'For God loves a person who gives cheerfully'” (NLT).
